Washed up
There are all kinds of things washed up by the tide after yesterday's stormy weather, including this sea urchin shell. Ranza and I walked up to Lochranza to go to the Butcher's, Lochranza is very calm, the corner at the Sailor's Grave marks the change, with Catacol much windier. Many years ago I cycled from Lochranza to Catacol and back every day to work at Fairhaven, and remember that that corner almost always saw a change in the wind - usually with it against you, no matter which direction you were going!
And yes, we won the quiz, beating a whole three other teams, but with rounds on things like Christmas cracker jokes and Christmas music, the wine and chocolates were ours! We will enjoy them at a family dinner on New Year's Day.
