Trains and Bags and Planes
Today is going home day.
I have had a great 5 days in the UK.
Weather was kind, tennis was good, had a swim every day, saw some art, heard some music, took some photos, met a fellow blipper, saw some countryside.
So I get on the train in Eastbourne this morning. Put my case on luggage shelf and went down the carriage to find seat. The train starts to fill up to jam packed and by approach to Gatwick it was full to the gills. I couldn’t get to my case inside train so I disembarked and ran alongside train to re board to get case. However that ole whistle blew, the flag was raised and off she went .... with my case on board.
So my case is somewhere in the vast metropolis of London town.
I just stood there on the platform and watched that train speed away.
But I am a glass half full kinda gal and I’m thinking I won’t have to wash the dirty clothes inside.
Hey ho!
Work tomorrow - but it’s pay day
Goodbye England. I had a great time.
