Last Day of Work!

At least for a little while.

As always, it’s a pleasure to work in the London office - friendly and quiet - such a good combination. I was able to finish off some tasks and that’s always a satisfying feeling. Much of my piece of mind is due to a team member back in Edinburgh who will finish off a big piece of work. The last 9 months has been the first time for at least five years that I’ve worked in a full team and the difference is remarkable and very welcomed.

I took a meandering path home because Tim was off at yoga. I had an ice cream to Mark the transition from work to holiday mode. The look of this hipster barbershop under a railway arch took my eye. Before I made it home my best friend from Canada called and we had a good conversation. Note to self: call C much more regularly.

Tim came home and we had a delicious meal of clearing out the fridge variety. We then settled down to pack and take care of flat type tasks. Our ride came to pick us up at 2:30 am and we only had an hour of sleep...but adventure beckons!
