OVER THE TOP

A new tub of pills, yesterday’s blood test informing me that I need Vitamin D. But why do 60 minuscule tablets have to be packaged in a three inch tall tub? Do Vitamin D tablets need to breathe, or move around a lot to relieve boredom on the pharmacy shelf? I will find a use for the tub when its contents are swallowed just to make me feel less aggrieved at the waste.

I have heard that we are about to suffer a heatwave. Free Vitamin D!
