It's sister's day today!
Today my sister and her hubby called in to see us on their way back from visiting their son and daughter-in-law in London for a few days, on their way back home to Knaresborough in North Yorkshire, It had been their grandson's 4th birthday. He has an older sister who is 6 years of age.
So we have seen quite a few of our extended family in the last two weeks. I have three more cousins (not including the one in Lancashire with the gorgeous garden) and over all 8 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces.
My sister's other son and wife live in Sydney, Australia.
They are going out there in September for several weeks.
This time it was a meal at one one of our local hostelry's, before they set off on the next leg of their journey.
Since then a friend of mine has popped in and had a cuppa. She asked if I'd like to go and see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the BIrmingham Hippodrome. It will be a girl's night out!
I'm ringing another friend later to ask her. Already looking forward to it!
Well, time for tea.
We never even mentioned the "B" word as my brother-in-law is a "Leaver" as opposed to us "Remainers" !
Extra of the garden today. The roses survived the deluge from Monday.
