Congratulations!

A day of excitement and pride, as today our son Iain successfully defended his organic chemistry Ph.D thesis at ETH Zurich! We attended his presentation in the morning and he had his viva exam later in the afternoon, followed by a wee celebration with members of his department. Then it was out for an informal family dinner in the 35 degree heat.
