Linn of Tummel
Woke up to bright sun and a blue loch and the prospect of warm summer temperatures.
We decided on a walk which went around parts of the River Gary, River Tummel and included the Linn of Tummel falls.
The main photo is of the River Tummel above the falls but looks like it could be anywhere in the Mediterranean.
We ate lunch sitting on a rock looking at the main falls, see extra, then continued with blue skies above and 22°c temperatures despite it being late afternoon. It was a perfect day after the previous hike in the wilds.
Towards the end we were walking through a wooded section and were lucky enough to see a red squirrel scampering away on the forest floor, what a treat!
