Miniature of Latécoère 25
Miniature of the airplane Latécoère 25 of Saint Exupéry at the San Carlos Castle.
The Latécoère 25 was a postal and passenger transport plane built in 1925 for the use of Latécoère's own airline and its subsidiaries. It was essentially a refined version of the Latécoère 17 with a larger scope, which it supplanted in production and service. As the Lignes Aériennes Latécoère put more emphasis on air mail instead of passenger transport, the Latécoère 25 found its definitive role as a mail plane, and widely used in the establishment of lines in South America.
It was the plane that flew the writer Antoine Saint Exupery in your air mail works developed in South America
