Photographers everywhere...

I spent most of the morning in my office in St Andrews House and at meetings there but had to go down to Princes St for half an hour.

Walking there and back I was struck by the sheer number of people who were photographing virtually everything that moved and didn’t move and much in between (like this bus).

I hope they were proving true that remark of Dorothea Lange

““The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera. “

Because otherwise they were missing a lot of things worth seeing.....
