More rain

I know there are places much worse off than us for flooding at the moment, but the last few days have seen a lot of rain and this afternoon the river at Appleby looked very high. It is here that the river has overflowed in recent years and caused a lot of problems for the town. It was interesting watching the ducks just stepping off into the water, instead of having to launch themselves from the bank.
