Investigations
Yesterday Omo started to get some problems. He was limping a bit, when he tried to stand up, but all in all it disappeared after some steps.
This morning everything seemed to be okay, until on our morning dog walk he suddenly started to limp and refused to use his back paw.
Poor boy!
In an unsupervised moment he slipped into the river Gersprenz, but he couldn't get out again with his painfull paw. Blimey! Stupid dog!
In the end, he had to swim a stretch so he would come to a gentle sloping spot to get out.. We limped home and called the vet for an emergency appointment.
Obviously it is something with his paw, not a ripped cruciate ligament or his beginning spondylosis. But she couldn't find the cause.
We retured home with pain stillers, which didn't gave a relief and we should make footbaths paw baths, which Omo really hates :-/
After one of those baths, my Hanullis offered to help to investigate his paw. Tobi was looking for tiny splinters and Vanessa was tryng to calm Omo down. But unfortunately they couldn't find the cause neighter.
So we will return to the vet on Friday for more investigations (X-rays etc.)
Reminder for the Tiny People Challenge:
The current tag for June is TiPS34. For July it will be TiPS35.
You can make as many entries as you like. I'm looking forward to many creative entries of the adventures of all sorts of tiny figures. Have fun!
