HELP . . . MISSING BRAIN

It must be the sudden heat. Thought it would be easy to try the Olympus in-camera multiple image function. Well . . . I have struggled and cannot understand why the figures are ghostly . . . unless it is just poor exposure settings . . . or why this function turns off after every use. Come on my grand Blip Mates . . . I need help !
Before you answer that I know that many of you have thought that for a long time !
I even seem to have forgotten how to merge images within PS . . . aaaargh . . . need a drink. Any answers . . . apart from give up Olympus . . . readily accepted.
