Jumbo Vision Leaving Campbeltown

20C with sunny sunshine. Light W/WNW breeze.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and carried on along Hall Street and the shore side of the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. We turned there and came back the same way.

On the way back I noticed the pilot boat just outside the harbour we stopped in a shady spot to check if Jumbo Vision was about to leave. Sure enough smoke started rising from the stacks and she started backing out from the new quay. We went and sat on a park bench near the cemetery (Fergus went into the shade under the bench) until she had turned and was making her way across the loch and went out through the channel by Davaar island. Zea Servant was coming round Davaar island for the pilot to meet when he disembarked from Jumbo Vision.

We came back along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
