This morning, WE had a "lie in"

Since there was no farming for me, thanks to the public holiday, there was no scramble to,  pack the box and get going.

As we were chatting, the sun blew us a "kiss", announcing "today's going to be a good day".

And it was...........

I took Mom to the mall, for a spot of shopping.

For once, she wasn't shopping for groceries and being shooed along, by Barbara.

She bought a vest.  I bought new gym pants.

NOTE : Being up close and personal with Mom in the change room, shocked me a little.  The clothes she was wearing, were enormous on her,  she has lost a lot of weight / muscle.  A lot !


After our shopping spree, we had lunch and I headed back to Joburg, to catch up on the pubmed abstracts.  Happiness is.....
