Heatwave getting stronger. We had a tropical night, but we managed to sleep door open (with the net for mosquitoes).

Up early to walk the dogs before the heat and then back inside. Trip to the grocery store is always a nice event even if I don't really enjoy it otherwise.

The day was spent very much like yesterday. But no swimming. Strong winds and beaches on red flags. So instead we went for a walk along the beach and it was nicely refreshing. 

Husband's brother gave the details from Barcelona area. They have had 36°C today and tomorrow they'll have 40°C. We on steady 32°C for a week according to forecast. 40°C in the shade. Terrible.

Perhaps tomorrow we can swim again. Sea up to 22°C, which is still nicely refreshing.
