Weird and Wonderful

Madrid has had it all this visit, from this weird shawl image painted on the corner of this building, just off Gran Via, to the wonderful Elton John concert we attended last night, about which we were still buzzing today. El Pais gave him a magnificent review placing him in the very top of the musicians' pantheon. This farewell tour still has nearly 18 months to run and has many dates in Europe, Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK to come so still plenty of opportunity to get a ticket.

For the record, we discovered the wonderful Los Mostenses local food market today, also off Gran Via.
