Festival time

Just before our time for meeting friends for lunch G and I had a walk around Pendleton in Lancashire.  This weekend is their festival duck race and the bunting adorns the little stream where the ducks will race.
Our lunch at the Swan with Two Necks was as good as usual even though it is a couple of years since we went there.  The little stream running down through the village was quite full.
