Will, Betty and Jane

Today's the day …………………. to catch up with family

We headed towards Glasgow today to see Will's cousin Betty and her daughter Jane. 

Betty now lives in very smart and comfortable residential accommodation not far from Jane - and it was great to catch up with them both.  It's probably something like fifty years since Will and Jane last saw each other so there was quite a bit of catching up to do.  And it was a good chance for Will and Betty to have a chat in Welsh - which they both enjoyed.

After lunch, we left them to see more relatives - on my side of the family this time.  We paid a visit to my Uncle Bill, also in residential accommodation, with my cousin Jane, his daughter.  And then returned with her to spend a night at her house.  It was good to spend time with Jane and Graham - and my other cousin, Morag.

We mustn't leave it so long next time before we see them again ……………..
