Foreshore
A daytrip to Aldeburgh today, armed with our cameras. Lots and lots and lots of pictures of beach and boats! Although the light was very flat, we got quite a few pics which we were happy with.
I love Aldeburgh, it has a melancholy kind of beauty that keeps me going back for more. Benjamin Britten's 'Four Sea Interludes' from 'Peter Grimes' play in my head like a soundtrack, as the waves break on the endless shingle beach. A wonderful place.
I have blipped from here before, including the giant shell sculpture on the beach which is a memorial to Benjamin Britten.
