Wee Harry Potter

The little lady took an unfortunate fall today. As we were walking to meet Gooma at Pourboys she tripped and split her forehead open on a protruding paving stone.

The poor girl burst into tears but I have to say, she was incredibly brave. Although the cut was deep, she was back on her feet and quickly recovered her composure.

We patched her up with butterfly strips and plasters but we ultimately decided to take her to hospital for a second opinion. After all the cut was right in the middle of her forehead so we were keen to do all we could to minimise any potential scarring.

She was obviously apprehensive about stitches but thankfully the doctor was able to compress the gash and hold it together with glue.

Not a great day but we were incredibly proud of our wee girl. She took the ordeal in her stride and it barely bothered her at all.
