HI BLIPPERS....

.... whacko what a day!

One of the "to do list" whilst away was a Whale watch cruise. Been on a few before but never really seen the fun of a breach from these wonderful part of nature.

The weather looked like being good today so off I went for the 10am cruise, thinking any wind should not come up till later, this being my only concern as you can see the seas were a gentle 1 metre swell and sunny warm day.

We had seen a few tails and humps but as before nearing the end go cruise another non event...... BUT WAIT!!

As we went around one of the Islands around the bay two humpbacks cruised right past close up and as before nice tail etc.... and then bingo!

Seemed one of them, and maybe by all the barnacles an old one, decided to send us back to port with a show. Did about six breaches nearly one after the other. 

Only having my Lumix pleased they were close but still hard to time and grab the shots. Really happy with this one so went back smiling!

Enjoy and have look in LARGE we also spotted some seal on one of the Islands but had filled my card with whale "stuff"!
