First harvest of the year

Cherries are always one of our earliest crops - indeed this year I have just caught the end of it. The tree is just visible in the background with the ladder still there. 
The garden jungle continues to fight back but at least today the nearest patches of what should be garden are looking slightly more under control.
It hasn't helped that i went to Vans market today and purchased some vegetable plants which will need space for planting shortly....
