Boat Bottom Contrast

I was stuck by the contrast exhibited by these two Port Townsend, WA boat bottoms - one fresh from the ocean, one cleaned with care. A beautiful day for a walk, which we did with our adult kids. Over eight miles total, from their house to the paper mill, to town, to lunch, and back. Lots of photos taken, made it hard to choose but I have always had a soft spot for boats so here it is.
