Fan time

We’re back in that time of year - the reassuring him of the fan, dreams of windy mountain tops...

Earlier, off to the airport in the hire car to pick up our slightly broken car. It is losing power, and just not reliable and with TallGirl having an exam an hour away this week, a reliable car is a must. (Also the hire car’s proper air con is very welcome.)

Mr B was rightly nervous of breaking down on the périphérique or the motorway, so we took a long detour on little roads which was interesting, but very long. Obviously when we took the car to the garage, it behaved perfectly for him!

Later, home for lots of work, a tricky call and, at the end of the day, a delightful complement from someone senior on a piece of work that has been very testing.
