A Taste of Summer

I am so pleased to have finally finished this throw sized quilt which I am calling A Taste of Summer.
The name derives from the cherries on the pieced fabric and the words on the backing and binding, which are all fruit- related words.

I started the quilt top almost exactly three years ago when my cat ,Poppy, was very poorly. It became my therapy and a good distraction so it is dedicated to her memory.
