Luck of the Irish
The third day of school holidays in Ireland & the grandchildren along with the staff of dogs and parents were on the beaches of Co, Donegal & the day finished with Fish & Chips on the way home. Apparently 26°C and lovely. Certainly looked like it. None of the hassles of bathing in Germany - kilometres of empty sand & being able to drive the car up to the ocean's edge and thus not far to drag the gear or get to the stored snacks.
For me a slightly less hot day than the last few. The low somewhere in the Bay of Biscay is pushing heat towards the British Isles which has meant a bit of relief on the opposite side with cooler air from the north but the heat returns tomorrow and again possible records on Sunday.
Took Luna for an almost nighttime dip in the local river. It was still 23°C at 9:15 pm.
PS I am having to guess the position of the Geotag from the other pictures that were sent.
