Self promotion (outside my comfort zone)

I was in Sudbury, Suffolk today, getting some silk for my hats and ended up chatting to a gentleman about the Sudbury silk festival in September. It turns out he is on the committee, and and is going to decorate the local statue of Gainsborough with a silk scarf, so I asked if he would like a hat to go with it. I gave him my card, and showed him some photos, and I’ve now got a spot to exhibit my hats in their shop for the festival!
