POP

...goes the weasel!

Today was my last day of work before summer holidays.  It was a very odd day but easy, too.  I got out early and had time to 'kill' before picking up my daughter from work, so it was perfect for going back to the woods for a long walk about. It was so refreshing as a storm moved in.

The highlight was seeing this little guy. What is it with super friendly wildlife??  I sat on the ground and he kept poking out to check me out and finally came out and ran around me to get some seed or nuts on the ground behind me. Soooo cute!

Weasel  You can hear the Grackles and Red-Winged Blackbirds in the trees around us.
