I've had a lovely day, although I woke up at 4.30am!

I got loads of work completed before everyone woke up and then we headed off to Duston for another Christmas celebration with my mum and brother.

Presents galore. I was really chuffed with my gift from my mum which was a night out for two in an unusual setting. It could be a castle or a campingcab, an igloo or a treehouse ... How cool is that?

We had a fab meal at the newly refurbished Turnpike in Harpole and then I dropped Richard back home.

I've just finished playing my 6th game of rummy with Rachel and now I'm off to bed.
