Santa and his little helpers

Another lovely day with the Sheffield branch of the family. Daniel was dressed up in his little santa suit for a photoshoot however I still haven't mastered the right settings for indoor low light photography. It's only now I'm home that The Boy mentioned he just sets it on Automatic in those situations. It hadn't occurred to me that my DSLR would have an automatic mode!

We had a lovely morning, playing with Daniel and his new Christmas presents. He's such an attentive little boy and clearly understands a lot. He has a little car transporter that comes in 3 parts and he knew he needed to pass the other parts before it could be played with. He especially loved the sound effects that his Uncle G made when he played with it.

In the supermarket later he was happy for his Auntie and Uncle to amuse him, that was until he saw his mummy again and remembered he'd been left without her. Either that or he just wanted to make his Auntie have to sing in the supermarket to calm him down.

By his afternoon nap we were ready to head home, a lovely time and so nice to see R & S as well but it seemed so short when I've been used to going down for 5 days at a time.
