National MTB champs

After a dull but not rainy start to the day it turned out to be quite a nice afternoon so, after my usual slow Sunday start, I eventually got my A into G and headed off to see the MTB championships proper in the afternoon.

There were some real speed demons on the course and, even as a spectator, I found it a wee bit scary. Of course, that could have been because I set myself up right on the edge of the track within whiskers of the riders racing by!!

Still, heart palpitations aside, it made for some good shots.
