Fairy lights

We put Chickpea's new butterfly fairy lights up in her bedroom today. She loves them and wanted to turn them on to read stories in bed before going to sleep. I'm still so surprised at how easily and quickly she has taken to having her own bed since being in ours from birth. She has never had a problem since the first day she decided she was ready and has only been back to our bed maybe twice- due to nightmares or illness. In my experience co-sleeping has been wonderful but it's lovely to know she was able to go to the next stage of being more independent with no problems. At all! (so neeer to all of the naysayers who said she would "never" be able to sleep by herself if we didn't push it at an early age) (ok, that was immature, sorry!)

Monkey has been saying "ah, ah, ah, ah, ah..." -- trying to copy Chickpea's sneezing sounds. He's only missing the "choo" but it makes him giggle and giggle!

I had every intention of leaving the house today, really I did! But it was too cold and yucky and I just didn't...
