Perpignan airport

the airport here was renovated a couple of years back . We tend to wait beyond security in a large lounge overlooking the airport with comfy seats and a selection of mags to read. There's often a photo display and there's a childrens play area behind the lounge.  I can't understand why virtually everyone else sits below in a crowded area with insufficient hard seats .  Someone suggested it was the '1st class lounge' but the airport only caters for budget airlines. I think more likely they just forgot to put up any signage so many don't realise its there.
