Common Gull

A warm day with heavy downpours and thunder and lightening. 

Some polytunnel gardening in the morning and a wander through the village in the afternoon. I checked the oystercatcher chick which is alive and well and stretching it's wings ready to fly. It looks like it's parents now, see extra.

I also found a new view point where the Common Gulls nest, some were on the nest but there were also loads of chicks around. This one was trying to dry out between showers
