Wild Poppies

There are plenty of wild poppies growing at the sides of the road but they are not easy to photograph when you are the driver and there is no handy lay by. This little clump is growing behind the Elie sailing club building.

A warm, misty start to the day but things did improve by lunchtime and I was able to have my lunch outside.  Gradually the sky darkened and by the middle of the afternoon we had thunder, lightning and a period of torrential rain .... another battering for the garden!
