Polish and Typical Morph echoes
Preening moorhenling portrait (2/2)
My mother and I went to Brockwell Park in the early afternoon. It was sweltering, and lots of the birds were panting or lying with their wings spread out on the ground to cool down... The swans and cygnets were swanning about with a foot in the air to help cool them down. There are still 3 Polish cygnets and 2 typical ones, and they're starting to look a bit feathery.
The light was contrasty, so I leant into it and went extra contrasty here...
