Hot, hot, hot!

So hot today, I believe the hottest day of the year so far. The British weather goes from one extreme to the other.  Got up early so I could make a start on the front border and this phone picture is the only one I had time to take. It all looks a bit of a mess, but I cleared so much rubbish and overgrown hedge clippings from next doors hedge. The year has been so wet I haven't had time to clear it before now.

New hedge trimmer is so heavy I know I'm going to ache tomorrow.

Unusually for me I had a sit in one of our conservatory chairs in the shade of a tree which is when I took this picture (edited in snapseed) which was rather lovely as there was a pleasant breeze, and the chair was very comfy.

Homemade burgers and BBQ'd Mediterranean veg for supper, along with a few glasses of chilled wine.
