Being in the same boat
Transcending borders, culture, ethnicity and religion, we are, basically, all the same.
We have the same dreams, aspirations, fears. We want food, safety, shelter. We worry about our kids and grieve over the loss of loved ones: husbands, parents, friends, kids, pets.
Most of us will know what it is like not to want to get up in the morning, or feeling overwhelmed. For some, these feelings will be fleeting and for some, they will fill the long days, weeks and seasons.
And when we are happy, we celebrate the same things: love, children, grandchildren, achievements, safety or relief...
We are all in the same boat. And if you can remember that, you will never be alone.
Thank you to everyone for sharing.
