Storm watching

Been ages since we've had a big wild thunder storm, kid levels of excitement, not least Max who loves the heavy rain but not the big thunder rolls if they crack nearby. I jump at the flashes, they freak me out a bit.

Thank the thunder claps i got the roof fixed yesterday, slates fixed back, holes filled, gutters cleared after years of the roof becoming semi-organic with its own green roof highways and eco systems. Just worrying about our nests, hoping the birds and beasts are okay and dont get rained out or miss the years in the making lush mossy gutterways too much.
