Kayaking Friend

Mr. Heron was our kayaking buddy this morning. Except for a few birds and a couple of golfers, we saw no one! It was a quiet beautiful morning ride. As soon as we got a little closer to Mr. Heron, he flew to the next dock waiting for us. We payed this little game for awhile, before he just turned his back on us and waited till we quietly passed him by before resuming his morning fishing. Dave and I so enjoyed our morning of kayaking and exploring. Mostly I sat and relaxed while Dave did all the work. It was a nice Anniversary present!
