Everlasting Lunch

In case you're wondering what the title is about, it got lost in translation when the Events Planner, Emmanuel, stood up last week to announce the lunch that was planned to mark 23 years of the church being founded. He should have said Everlasting Love Lunch. It caused some laughter.

I was impressed at how the hotel staff transformed our meeting room into a ballroom! The celebration cake was delicious, but the food was basic. It was the company that made it. We sat with David, Felma and their daughter Gail.

Home to catch up with some rest and just chill. I got engrossed in writing some copy for our seventh newsletter. It's amazing how long it can take to write a few paragraphs for work where the sound and feel have to be business-like!
