Lovely lakes

A usual Saturday morning start taking my son swimming at the crack of dawn and then out for my run. It was hot hot not so I did 7 miles and then called it a day. I love this path that I occasionally run down as the trees create lovely shade and shadows!

This afternoon we headed to the lake and had such a wonderful time. We did paddle boarding, kayaking and some canoeing and then there was a hog roast. Once the lake was closed for swimming the children played on the fields with balls and other games and it was so lovely to see!!

Home and exhausted!! Getting an early night!!!!
