St. Anne d’Auray

Today we drove round the local area and saw many ancient monoliths etc. We also visited St. Anne d’Auray where a basilica has been erected to St. Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary. She’s apparently not mentioned in the Bible and I can’t help wondering what she might have said to her 15 year old daughter who announced she was pregnant!!!
