Damselfly

It was warm today, but I didn’t realise how warm until I eventually dragged myself out for a run.  I almost melted and really struggled near the end of my run.  I was so glad to get home. I had made the mistake of going for a  long run (almost ten miles) on the hottest day of the summer so far.

After a period of recovery and some lunch, BB went out with some friends, so TT and I went out for a  wee walk so I could stretch off my weary legs.  We walked past a pond that was full of big tadpoles (extra).

TT was on tea, I should have done some ironing, but sat outside with a drink until it got too cold – enjoying the last of the sunshine.

We spotted damselflies flying around the pond too.
