Cold Christmas

It isn't Christmas: in fact we are about as far away from Christmas as it is possible to be.  It isn't cold either: in fact it has been very warm and sunny today - definitely the weather to have the roof down in the car.

However, as we are past midsummer, I suppose we could be considered to be on the countdown to Christmas, so perhaps that is why we found ourselves heading towards the village of Cold Christmas on our meanderings through Hertfordshire this afternoon.

It has been a really delightful day, and late in the evening my wife is sitting outside in the garden enjoying the, now cooler, air.
