Another day, another beach
A close up this time. See extra for a wider view. Our last morning in Lewis, and the visibility was down to about 200metres when we got up. However the mist blew away during breakfast and it turned out to be a lovely day. We stopped to walk down to just one more beach before heading to the ferry, and as we got out of the car an eagle soared by. I didn’t even bother grabbing the camera, we just watched it until it disappeared.
The other extra is the Summer Isles, taken from the ferry as it approached Ullapool. It was a very calm crossing, spen mostly reading a book. I glanced out the window at just the right time to see some dolphins, however. Definitely a good day for wildlife!
