Goddess Mokosh

Mokosh. Feeling grateful for having geocaching in our lives again and again. Today’s first cache brought us to a magical spot dedicated to Mokosh, one of the most popular Slavic deities and the great earth Mother Goddess of East Slavs and Eastern Polans, a wanderer and a spinner. I prayed to her for some rain as she is also a goddess of humidity and our country is slowly turning into desert as we could observe in the nearby quarry. ‘Mokry’ in Czech means wet.
