Boxing day.....

I see a theme occurring here.....

Today the rest of the family returned with two gorgeous nephews in tow..... and that was our excuse for more bubbles to flow ;)

We unwrapped more presents and exchanged hugs and kisses and Christmas day seemed extended.

Then just as everyone had left, my brother noticed that he had lost his car keys!
The next couple of hours were spent retracing his steps, outside in the dark, and the cold and the rain.....with my wind up torch (one of which I think everyone should have!)

We did not find them, but managed to look like three thieves in the night trying to break into all the cars in the neighbourhood.

Then the decision was made, after contemplating several rather expensive options and ringing round for quotes, to borrow dad's car and to retrieve the spare set of keys which were six months previously dropped under the garden decking and to come back tomorrow and rescue the said car.

A great idea = relief

We waved them off and rewarded ourselves with some Baileys ;)
