Balmy Bournemouth

This image may not be remarkable, but it was considering it was taken at 19:38 pm and there were still so many on the beach, and swimming. During the day the beachgoers were packed like sardines.

The usual chaos. Cars circling town trying to park, others parked everywhere haphazardly and selfishly on double yellows (the council will have raked in a fortune in fines). Bars, restaurants packed, long queues for icecream.

A sweltering day (I stayed in most of the day in with fan on), and we finally went out for a very welcome Aspall in the early evening.

Today temperatures are down and can breathe again. Brilliant.
