Across the fields.

The man is feeling bit better now so went out for a walk after the rain stopped. It was time to blow away cobwebs. Bitterly cold though and took a shortcut back through the fields. Saw a red squirrel on the way home but the sun was well down - and he was too fast. Didn't think you saw much of these little guys at this time of year. Lucky I guess.

Back home to play with my new toy in the kitchen. The old stick blender that I've had for the best part of 15 years broke a couple of weeks ago and I bought myself a Bamix. Thought it was all hype but am seriously impressed. A jar of mayonnaise from start to finish in a couple of minutes and no splashing despite the small initial volumes. Cool.
